Iowa Board of Parole

The Iowa Board of Parole (BOP) is charged with issuing certificates of employability (COE) to eligible offenders currently under the supervision of the Iowa Department of Corrections.

The COE program addresses the needs of two groups. The first group is the offenders applying for the certificate. The second group is for employers checking the application status of the offender.

To view the COE overview and the COE application, you must use Adobe's Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded for free if not already installed on your computer.

Applicants
